These cricket tacos are super simple to make and you’ll impress everyone by eating them… Or just make yourself look strange



For this recipe I used some crickets that I got off of Amazon. I literally typed in “cooking cricket”



Mix the seasoning in with the crickets



Cricket Tacos
Would you dare to take on some cricket tacos?
Equipment
- 1 Grill
- 1 Cast Iron Pan
Ingredients
Cricket seasoning
- 1 tbsp Pepper
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Cumin
- 1 tbsp Paprika
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 3 Crackers Any type of crackers
Vessel
- 2 Tortillas
Additional
- 1 Jalapeño
- ¼ Onion
- 3 tbsp Salsa
- ¼ tbsp Yogurt
- ¼ tbsp Cumin
Instructions
Cricket Mix
- Preheat your grill to 400-500 degrees
- While that heats up, mix crickets with the seasoning listed above. It will become a paste
- Dice your Jalapeño
- Dice your ¼ onion
- Once grill is heated up
- Add your Jalapeño and onion to pan
- Once your Jalapeño and onions are charred, add your seasoned crickets to the pan
- Mix your yogurt and cumin together
- Grill for 10-15 minutes depending on how hot your grill is
- Toast your tortillas until golden brown
- Add your yogurt and cumin to tortilla
- Place crickets in tortilla
- Add salsa
- Enjoy 🙂
