Cricket Tacos

Ingredients
  

Cricket seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Cumin
  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 3 Crackers Any type of crackers
Vessel
  • 2 Tortillas
Additional
  • 1 Jalapeño
  • ¼ Onion
  • 3 tbsp Salsa
  • ¼ tbsp Yogurt
  • ¼ tbsp Cumin

Equipment

  • 1 Grill
  • 1 Cast Iron Pan

Method
 

Cricket Mix
  1. Preheat your grill to 400-500 degrees
  2. While that heats up, mix crickets with the seasoning listed above. It will become a paste
  3. Dice your Jalapeño
  4. Dice your ¼ onion
  5. Once grill is heated up
  6. Add your Jalapeño and onion to pan
  7. Once your Jalapeño and onions are charred, add your seasoned crickets to the pan
  8. Mix your yogurt and cumin together
  9. Grill for 10-15 minutes depending on how hot your grill is
  10. Toast your tortillas until golden brown
  11. Add your yogurt and cumin to tortilla
  12. Place crickets in tortilla
  13. Add salsa
  14. Enjoy :)
