Equipment
- 1 Smoker
- 12 Inches of cooking twine
- 1 Foil pan
Ingredients
- ¼ cup Salt
- ¼ cup Pepper
- 1 Prime Rib
- 6 Canoe Cuts Four ½ canoe cuts of bone marrow
Instructions
Smoker
- Preheat your smoker to 250 degrees
- Place a foil tray underneath where you will have your prime rib to catch the juices
Prime Rib
- Prep the prime rib by seasoning with salt and pepper
- Take your bone marrow canoe cuts and wrap the prime rib. I was able to fit 3 on each side, this will depend on how big your prime rib is
- Using your cooking twine, wrap the bone marrow cuts around the prime rib and tie a knot
- Once your smoker is heated up to temperatue, place the prime rib wrapped in bone marrow cuts into the smoker for 2.5 hours or until internal temperature of meat reaches 120 degrees
- Once finished, take out of smoker and let rest for 30 minutes to let the juices flow and continue to cook
- Slice your prime rib and scrap your bone marrow onto each bite 🙂
