Bourbon Pork Tenderloin Sandwich

If you like bourbon and pork, you're gonna need to try this

Ingredients
  

Pork
  • 1 Pork Tenderloin
  • 6 tbsp Bourbon Barrel Steak Seasoning I used "craft spice blend"
  • 1 Handfull Shredded Lettuce
Bourbon Glaze
  • ¼ cup Your favorite Bourbon This recipe comes from Overthefirecooking.com
  • ¼ cup Maple Syrup
  • 2 tbsp Butter

Equipment

  • 1 Grill
  • 1 Basting Skillet

Method
 

Pork
  1. Preheat charcoal to 400 degrees
  2. Place tenderloin on grill. Rotate every 2-4 minutes
  3. Pull off when internal temp hits 165
Bourbon Glaze
  1. Pour ¼ cup of bourbon into basting skillet and simmer for 2-4 minutes
  2. Pour ¼ cup of maple syrup into basting skillet
  3. Add 2 tbsp of butter
  4. Pull off of heat and stir :)
  5. Once the butter has melted the glaze is finished

Notes

If you're obsessed with bourbon and a good sandwich, this is a must try.
The bourbon flavor is strong at first but settles down into a nice sweet finish after a few chops
