Ingredients
  

Duck Breast Seasoning

  • Duck breast 🦆
  • Olive oil 🛢
  • Chili powder 🌶
  • Smoked paprika 🌶
  • Ground cumin
  • Ground pepper 🫑
  • Salt 🧂

Sauce

  • Red wine 🍷
  • Garlic cloves
  • Butter 🧈
  • Soy sauce
  • Honey 🍯
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Canned black cherries 🍒

Instructions
 

Duck Breast

  • Start by scoring the fat on the duck breast
  • Then go back and score opposite direction
  • Season your duck breast with above ingredients on all sides
  • Preheat your griddle to 375
  • Place the duck breast fat side down on griddle for roughly 15 minutes – DO NOT TOUCH IT 🙂 I know you are going to want to
  • While that is cooking, start your sauce
  • After 15 minutes, flip the duck over for another 10 minutes
  • Slice and serve over a bed of white rice
  • Pour over your sauce and enjoy 🙂

Sauce

  • Add red wine to your basting skillet
  • Add garlic cloves, soy sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, canned black cherries, butter
  • Bring to a boil and then immediately down to a simmer while the duck continues to cook
